Gazprom: Poland buys Russian gas from Germany
MOSCOW, Apr 28 (PRIME) -- After direct gas supplies from Russia stopped, Poland buys Russian gas from Germany, Gazprom said in a statement on Thursday.
"After suspension of direct supplies, Poland keeps on buying Russian gas. But now in Germany, from where it arrives to Poland in a reverse mode via the Yamal–Europe pipeline. The reverse amounts to about 30 million cubic meters per day, which almost exactly coincides with the orders under an agreement with Gazprom Export for the previous days," Gazprom said.
Gazprom stopped supplies to Poland's PGNiG on Wednesday after the company refused to pay in rubles for the gas.
